Sedgefield 500 Cancelled

Sedgefield 500 – Official Event Cancelled. We’re sorry to announce that the official Sedgefield 500 event, starting next Friday, has been cancelled. There will be no staffed support, no organizers, and no official logistics in place. All event payments are currently being refunded.

That said, the adventure doesn’t need to stop here. The route is still open, and you’re welcome to ride it on your own terms, unsupported and unofficially. Starting on Friday the 12th September 2025,  at 06:00.

To help keep the spirit alive, here are the community members who have already signed up. You might cross paths with them, ride together, or choose to take it on solo—it’s completely up to you. We know this is late notice, and we apologize for the inconvenience. But we encourage anyone who has prepared to go ahead and take on the challenge as a community ride, not an official event.

 Route Tips

This event is a self-supported journey, so it's crucial to take responsibility for your own safety. Remember, the roads remain open to all, urging a heightened awareness of traffic and fellow road users.

We invite you to embark on an epic adventure, challenging your limits, and when you think you've reached your boundary, dare to astonish yourself with what you're truly capable of achieving.

This year we have a parcour split option. It's your choice. Both route files are above.

Safety Tips

Always prioritize your safety over completing the route.
Carry extra supplies, including food, water, and emergency gear.
Stay updated with weather conditions.
Plan your resupply points and ensure you have enough provisions for extended sections of the route.
